4/5 Toba Tek Singh is a movie based on a short story of the same name by one of the greatest story-teller of the 20th century, Saadat Hasan Manto. The story follows inmates in a Lahore asylum some of who are to be transferred to India following the 1947 Partition. The story is a "powerful satire" on the relationship between India and Pakistan The movie begins with introduction by Khushwant Singh. The movie has a nice blend of a great story and good acting. This is a must watch movie especially for those who can understand Hindustani language.
Directed by the Shoaib Mansoor(Khuda Ke Liye), Bol is a social-drama movie. The life of women in the Pakistan's society is shown. Nothing can be prejudged about what will happen next and this is the best thing about it. It is quiet obvious that certain people won't be able to watch the full movie but those who will watch will be all praises after the movie ends.
Directed by Shoaib Mansoor, the movie shows the problems that occur due to wrong interpretation of Islam and the Holy Quran. Naseeruddin Shah also plays an important role in the movie, which is the most important part, in which he tells what Islam is and what it is not. I have seen the movie two times in the past and both the times i saw something new in it.
